Thanksgiving Day/ Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated every 2nd Monday of October primarily in Canada and the United States. This annual holiday is to give thanks at the close of harvest season. Thanksgiving is usually celebrated with a large family meal, with Turkey as the main dish. Family and friends gather and enjoy the autumn colours and carry certain activities together.
